What Is a Scaffold Board?
A Scaffold Board is a load-bearing timber plank used to create safe working platforms on scaffolding structures. Manufactured to BS 2482, these boards are designed to support workers, tools, and materials while providing a stable, slip-resistant surface when correctly installed. Protective banded ends reduce splitting and extend service life.
