Part of Altrad Generation’s trusted Pedestrian Barrier Range, the Firmus Barrier is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and fitted with a reflective strip to create a protective wall for pedestrians that is clearly visible at night or in poor weather, while also alerting motorists to nearby hazards. The crowd control barrier boasts a generous 2-metre working length and a height of 1 metre, making it a reassuring presence on any site or walkway. It is also 100% recyclable, supporting environmentally responsible site operations.

Designed for secure stacking and easy transportation, the safety barrier can be deployed with ease in either a straight line or can be angled to accommodate more irregular excavations. With its link pin design, it is ideal for use on uneven surfaces, kerbs and slopes without compromising stability and with the option of an anti-trip foot it keeps walkways clear without encroaching on pedestrian space. The firmus barrier is fully compliant with BS7818 and Chapter 8 street works making it ideal for event management and pedestrian control.
